Habitat 1 won a competitive tender for the design and construction of a Perth Software Company’s head office, located on the terrace in the heart of the city.
They are a worldwide enterprise software company, with a well-known and established brand identity. In designing their Perth offices, the staff wanted to create a space that respected the company’s global identity, whilst still providing a unique environment, reflective of ‘our city’ and ‘our staff’.
Sophisticated high end finishes, highlighted with cheerful splashes of colour present the Perth office as approachable and welcoming. Large meeting spaces equipped with the highest level of audio visual equipment provides cutting edge technology for presentations and seamless communications with clients and SAP’s other international and national offices. Open plan areas and informal meeting spaces in the staff work areas create a free-flowing work environment that enhances and invites collaboration and communication.
The overall layout and design takes advantage of the abundance of and access to windows and natural light. Playful, yet refined breakout areas are dotted throughout the offices, reflecting the shift towards a more social work environment. This is a workspace that shows that a progressive and highly functional place of work can still be warm, inviting, and fun.
