THE BRIEF:
ATCO Australia Pty Ltd., represents a full range of energy services, primarily in the resources-based industries.  With their new office positioned on the top level of a prominent city building, they were looking for a fitout that complimented their stature within the industry whilst reflecting their corporate values and meeting their functional requirements. Habitat 1 conceptualised a space that represented a timeline whereby their history and capabilities were graphically presented throughout the fitout. Working closely with ATCO, we were able to create a timeless fitout maximising the 180 degree views of the city and river that incorporated natural materials such as spotted gum timber and stone wall and floor tiles, and spaces which encouraged reflection and reminiscence, enhanced by the subtle use of blues and greens and black and white imagery.
